Tonight was the debut of the cast iron skillet in my kitchen. That thing makes me nervous. No soap? Who doesn't use soap on their pans?? My first attempt to use this sucker was to make a Mexican scramble. The pan had a bizarre shimmeriness to it as I pushed the scramble around. The handle was cool enough to where I could touch it (would still recommend using a pot handle, of course) but the skillet is quite heavy!
Let's see how many times I can use this without soaping or dropping it.
